Dr Lisa Burnell is a specialist in ENT (otorhinolaryngology) and head & neck surgery, based at Morningside Mediclinic in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa.
She works alongside Dr Adzatia with their in-house audiologist, Tanith Van Wyk, they provide a comprehensive approach to ENT related problems (both paediatric and adult). Furthermore the practice is a part of the Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Team at Morningside Mediclinic.
She treats all aspects of ENT related complaints but is particularly passionate about head and neck oncology and rehabilitation.

Dr. Kwame E. Adzatia graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand medical school with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh) in 2010. He then worked in various academic and provincial hospitals across the country.
In 2016, he commenced his training at WITS towards qualifying as an ENT surgeon. He sat for the final college of Medicine exams and qualified in July 2020 and was admitted as a Fellow of the College of Otorhinolaryngologists of South Africa FCORL(SA).
He then went on to obtain a Masters in Medicine in Otorhinolaryngology MMed (ORL) from Wits in 2021.
Dr. Adzatia’s core competencies include the diagnosis, management, and treatment of general ENT conditions. He has developed a passion for otology (Ear surgery), vertigo (dizziness), paediatric ENT and management of chronic sinus pathologies over the years.
Tanith graduated from the University of Pretoria and went on to complete her Masters degree in Audiology. She is a widely experienced audiologist and has a special interest in neonates and pediatrics. She has expertise in hearing loss, diagnostic hearing assessments, newborn hearing screening and balance testing. She also has extensive experience in assistive listening devices and aural rehabilitation. She is passionate about her work and is a key member of our team.
